FDNC's Vocational Skills Training Center provides local youth with the opportunity to gain skills in tailoring, carpentry, masonry, computer or agriculture. These skills enable young people to become gainfully employed, support their families, and begin to reverse the cycle of poverty.
Provide a scholarship for an orphan or child of an impoverished family to attend the vocational school for a year. The recipient of your gift will receive a photo and profile of the student they are sponsoring,
and have the opportunity to establish a personal connection by corresponding with their student.
Provide lunch for 10 vocational students for a month.
Purchase a sewing machine for a graduating tailoring student to enable her to start her own workshop.
Purchase a set of carpentry tools for a graduating carpentry student to enable him to start his own workshop.
